One year after the first edition, we and our partners met once again at Circuito del Sele, for a new joint session of “Seaside Racing” initiative.
Shared ideas, technical equipment and acquired data, for a self-financed open knowledge R&D project few kilometers away from one of the most lovely coastlines of the world.
This year a further vehicle (a Skoda Fabia Rally2 EVO) and new tools have been available, as Kistler RV4 wheel vector device, VESevo innovative tires tread characterization system, glasses for eyes-tracking and much more.
New targets for the 2022 test sessions:
- Objectivizing the driver’s steering feel concept
- Investigating tire contact phenomena on deformable soil
- Improve models reproducing tire multiphysics in ride dynamics
- Getting more on the actual difference between a pro and a rookie driver
