Pistard Bmw Motorrad Team, supported by the advanced technologies of the MegaRide group

A spin-off of the University Federico II of Naples and a Neapolitan rider together to conquer the peaks of international motorcycling. On track, MegaRide, an innovative SME and leader in simulation technologies for motorsport and the automotive industry, with Riccardo Russo, the only Neapolitan rider on the grid in the Italian championship with the Pistard BMW Motorrad Team. Already a protagonist in Moto2 and Superbike, Russo will be supported by the advanced technologies of the MegaRide group, which, after conquering Formula 1 and MotoGP, now aims to accompany a Neapolitan rider toward new successes.

The technical activity will focus on the analysis and prediction of tire behavior, leveraging MegaRide’s real-time simulation software and the VESevo device, dedicated to the characterization of the polymeric materials that make up the rubber. This knowledge will allow the official BMW Motorrad team to develop tailor-made strategies to maximize the bike’s performance, adapting them to the specifics of each track and the various race conditions.

But the collaboration between Russo and MegaRide will not be limited to the technological aspect: it will also be a co-marketing synergy. The MegaRide logo will stand out on the livery of the team’s bikes, while the social media content of both partners will be developed in collaboration to showcase the behind-the-scenes of each race, from the anticipation to the competition, and the post-race analysis.

Edoardo Giaquinto, Marketing Manager of MegaRide:

“Our technologies have always played a key role in motorsport and innovation, allowing us to establish ourselves in top-level environments such as Formula 1 and MotoGP. This journey has allowed us to build a strong international identity, but doing it today alongside a Neapolitan talent adds a special value. Sharing this path confirms that we’re heading in the right direction and that our territory can be a global player both in innovation and in talent.”
